In the middle of 1990, PT. Jaya Refractorindo Utama (JAREFU) entered into Indonesia's refractory market to cater refractory demand. Formerly, our main products were fire clays and alumina based products such as firebricks (standard/customized), mortars, air setting mortars and several monolithic products for example castables, plastics, and ramming mass.
In 1994, we began to produce Insulating Bricks to respond our local market demands and gained international recognition by exporting them on year 1995. We continued to expand and maintain our products' quality. In year 2000, PT. Jaya Refractorindo Utama was appointed by Ho Kuang Refractory Industrial Co., LTD. - Taiwan to represent their Silicone Carbide (SIC) products in Indonesia. During early 2000, we observed that special ceramic refractory was a potential market, so after careful research and development alongside with selecting good quality material, we diversify our refractory line, which producing kiln furniture and specialized ceramic in 2003.
Nowadays, we always improve our products' quality and gained recognition from several high profile companies in Indonesia. Our company vision is to maintain and enhance our products quality for our customers' satisfaction.
