Advantages of these types of refractory bricks are light and have low thermal conductivity value. Therefore, they are very suitable to prevent heat energy from escaping through heat generating instrument. B type insulating bricks are placed on outer oven wall layering and should not be contacted with continual direct heat source more than 900°C. On the contrary, C type insulating bricks can be exposed directly to heat source because of their higher strength and higher temperature resistance property compared to the B type. Customized shaped bricks in limited dimension are available upon customer's request.
