These castables products are used by mixing it with water casted and applied it into heat generating machinery such as kiln, boiler, furnace, etc. The advantages of these products are quick installation, can be casted into various shape and dimension, can be applied into difficult part that cannot be installed by refractory bricks, and cost efficient. Conventional castables are used for direct contact with heat source. Low cement castables require less water than conventional castable, thus have higher strength to resist corrosion and wear. Insulating castables, which have low thermal conductivity, are used for heat insulation.
